Roseanne Trolls Obama’s Netflix Show with a Question for Her Fans

Few stars have embraced the ability to enrage liberals on social media quite like Roseanne Barr has particularly given the success of her new show and her status as one of President Donald Trump’s most vocal defenders in Hollywood.

So, when Barack Obama’s signed a new contract with Netflix — complete with the help of some campaign donors — it didn’t take long for Barr to ask her followers for some ideas for the programming.

For those of you who haven’t heard yet, the former president will be taking his talents to streaming video, with the New York Post estimating Barack and Michelle’s production deal is worth over $50 million.

“Ted Sarandos, a major campaign contributor for Obama and the streaming giant’s creative-content chief who oversees an $8 billion budget, helped to broker the deal,” the Post reported.

Oh yeah, and in a totally unrelated deal two months ago, former Obama U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice joined the board of the streaming service even though she has no entertainment industry experience whatsoever.

Apparently, according to Netflix CEO Reed Hastings, Rice “has tackled difficult, complex global issues with intelligence, integrity and insight and we look forward to benefiting from her experience and wisdom.” Whatever. All I have to say is that if there’s not another season of “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” I’m holding her responsible.

Anyway, the Obama-fication of Netflix was silly enough that Roseanne thought it was high time to crowdsource some ideas about how the Obamas could pay for all of the money they’re taking up.

And boy, did Twitter deliver. The Blaze collected some of the better reactions.

In the spirit of adding to a great American conversation, I have a few ideas of my own:

“Comey Island”: Eight Democrat celebrities are placed on an island and charged with finding an actual reason why James Comey should have retained his job as FBI director. The first one to find an irrefutable reason why gets airlifted off and wins $1 million in DNC cash. (May take a few seasons.)

“What About Robert?”: Nightly show where the latest non-revelations from Robert Mueller’s exhausting fishing expedition are detailed, all with an eye toward the question every Obama fan is asking — will this mean Donald Trump gets impeached? (Spoiler alert: no.)

“The $64 trillion Pyramid Scheme”: Game show/documentary about Social Security management.

If you choose to pick up one of these ideas, Mr. Obama, all royalties are payable to Cillian Zeal, C/O Conservative Tribune at The Western Journal. No Solyndra checks accepted.
